Redeemer

WHAT IT MEANS

Someone who rescues, frees or recovers another; a title used of God in Scripture.

IN BIBLICAL CONTEXT

Job speaks of his living Redeemer amid suffering. Isaiah uses the title in describing God's care for his people.
